Restaurant Moosrank (Baar)

In the center of the Moosrank is the rustic style inn. Lots of wood creates a cozy, homey atmosphere. Typical Swiss and international dishes dominate the menu.

For sure one of the most beautiful, but also one of the "weirdest" garden pubs far and wide, with a fantastic view over the Zugersee, the Rigi and the Pilatus, towards the Lindenberg, up to the Bernese Alps; as well as a spectacular sunset you will find here in the Moosrank. When the weather is nice, the barbecue is also put into operation. So you can also choose between the different offers in the garden.

Between Zug/ Baar and Aegeri, at the turnoff to Allenwinden (small yellow house with a big P!), on the ideal "bike route" to Aegeri!

Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00 o'clock - 14.00 o'clock and from 17.00 o'clock - approx. 23.00 o'clock

Cuisine:

Cooking and traveling are our main pastimes! Since I worked in 1982 in Cody/Wyoming (at the east entrance to the Yellowstone Park) our offer is swiss as well as international oriented and mostly homemade, the dishes are always prepared à la minute! At lunchtime, we serve these specialties as well as some inexpensive menus.

Gluten intolerance:

If you suffer from a gluten intolerance, let us know so we can bake you a gluten-free roll! (additional rolls we would have to charge you at cost price!) In addition, we can offer you various dishes gluten-free!

Cellar:

Wine is our hobby and our passion! Therefore, we are also here International, but we also maintain very nice, special "Swiss" growths and maintain a lively exchange with the producers!

Jassen:

Since we have only a few tables: Only together with food!

Smoking:

We are "smoke-free", and so that smokers can indulge even in bad weather, we have set up the heated "Roli's Raucherhüttli"!
