As the oldest inn in Switzerland, we are dedicated to cultivating the pleasures of the table in a unique setting. Ritter Heinrich Hall... The banquet hall on the second floor of the house was named after Baron Heinrich II. of Rapperswil, who once bought the goods in Wettingen as well as the patronage rights of the church in 1220. of the church and donated them to the Cistercian abbey of the Salem monastery in the Lake Constance region.

This was done out of gratitude because he was miraculously rescued from a distress at sea on one of his crusades. Restored true to the original, the Ritter Heinrich Saal is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies and other social gatherings as well as seminars.

The Abbot Konrad Stube... captivates by its elegance conveys a noble and intimate ambience. A large chandelier and historical pictures decorate the room. With the Abbot Konrad Stube you will find the perfect for smaller celebrations, meetings and seminars up to 25 persons.

Lion Rooms:

After the reconstruction, the historic Löwenscheune with the adjacent extension shows its most beautiful side.

From a distance, the building appears sharply cut and abstract, but as one approaches, the dark robe reveals its all-over ornamentation: punched-in flower and leaf motifs designed by artist Roland Herzog. The rooms, stylishly furnished with design elements, captivate with their simple elegance.

**The Löwensaal on the first floor offers... is suitable for events up to 180 persons. In the adjoining garden you can enjoy an aperitif in fine weather.

The Löwensaal on the 1st floor... has a capacity for up to 300 people. Under the impressive ceiling construction find weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, seminars and informational events.

The summer refectory, also called auditorium... is located in the premises of the Wettingen Monastery only a few steps away from the inn.
The festive, bright hall with its high leaded glass windows served in its time as a dining room for the monks. It is suitable for larger events, especially lectures, concerts, etc. up to 200 people.

**Also called the Brother's Hall... is located in the premises of Wettingen Monastery, only a few steps away from the inn. The skilful combination of original building fabric and modern architectural elements gives the Brudersaal its unique charisma. Up to 150 people can be seated here.

Apéro seats... In the middle of the unique historical scenery of the monastery peninsula you will find the cozy places for your open-air event! Whether a company dinner, wedding aperitif or family celebration, your event will be an unforgettable experience in this dreamlike setting.

Our wine cellar captivates with the uniqueness of the monastic architecture.... The oldest part of the star from the year 1254 lets you dive into long past times, when the monasteries were not only used for prayer but also for worldly pleasures such as wine.

Plan your next aperitif in the historic walls. The wine cellar can accommodate up to 50 people for wine and culinary delights.
