The rooms are ready for occupancy from 14.00 on the day of arrival.

Check in 14.00 o'clock until 17.30 o'clock.

We kindly ask you to vacate the rooms by 10:30 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure.

Prices per person and day, including local tax and VAT and duties. W-LAN free of charge. The prices are in Swiss Francs. Please ask for the Euro exchange rate when booking. We charge the current daily rate of the bank.

Our cuisine is known for its excellent quality and fresh products. Especially popular are our fish, asparagus, mushroom and game specialties as well as our house specialties such as Appenzeller Gitzi in grandmother's style.

Enjoy these fine dishes in the Appenzeller Stübli, in the bright hall or on the popular panorama terrace, high above the Schwendebach with an unobstructed view of the Alpstein.

In the cozy restaurant guests and locals meet for dining, cozy get-togethers and many a happy hour in a relaxed atmosphere. Here you sit in the middle of it all.

Sports and nature enthusiasts get their money's worth here: hiking in the valley or in the mountains, climbing in the Alpstein or in the climbing garden, biking on the road or on signposted, marked routes. Skiing and snowboarding on the slopes or with touring skis over snowy Appenzell hills and much more.
